The globally well known VPN provider, NordVPN, was celebrating their 10th year anniversary and decided to work with us in order to achieve their marketing campaign objectives. After discussing the campaign details with them and getting a thorough understanding of their end goal, we got to work and began structuring the immediately.
Our focuses were to provide large social presence of the anniversary, increase engagement through authentic content and to generate hot leads that will convert into customers. To assist with the campaign, and incentivize joining NordVPN, we were able to offer a promotional deal which gives a 70% discount and a gift to customers who purchase the 24 month plan.
To achieve the best results we decided it would be best to run influencer promotions as they will tap into a niche specific audience that best suits NordVPN. The promotions will be authentic and trusted by the influencers audience, as they're speaking with experience in using NordVPN, which will help in generating high quality leads.
We decided to work with the gaming youtuber "Speshel", for a 90 second ad segment, in showcasing the best features and offers that NordVPN provides. It was important to us that viewers could easily navigate to the NordVPN website with minimal effort so we implemented the use of a QR code being shown on screen during the promotion. Additionally we placed a call to action along with the website link at the top of the video description so that it was easy to find and instructed viewers on what to do.
The video currently has over 1,500,000 impressions since going live, performing significantly better than average at a 45% increase. Within 24 hours of the video being published we had already received reports of increased revenue and sign-ups for our client through the creator tracking link.
